Okay, so screw having a specific theme for my blog. I’m just going to write whatever I want, no matter what it is. It might’ve been cool to try a specific topic and focus on that, but I can already feel myself getting bored.
It seems like, if you have a super-specified blog theme, you’ll eventually need to squeeze posts out when there really isn’t much to say. I don’t want to fall into that situation, so I’m going to keep my options open. I’m going to try to make everything I do original and beneficial, but there are no rules beyond that.
It doesn’t seem to matter what you put in your blog anyway, since bloggers now-a-days write more for search engines than people. I guess that’s good in way. At least that allows people more freedom to not censor their ideas. Just write whatever you want and learn how to drive traffic.
It’s scary to think that the number of readers is starting to have less and less to do with quality of content.
